KARD architects had the opportunity to participate in a very interesting and challenging project, which challenges the line between real and digital world, between the present and the future experience. The office successfully completed the design and the construction of two pilot VIRTUAL REALITY EXPERIENCE spaces in a SEVEN Spot, Thessaloniki.

The main goal of the architectural design was to introduce the visitor, the extraordinary experience of Virtual Reality through a process of a ritual preparation and engagement with the virtual world, in a new fresh designed space. Through video projections and interactive surfaces set up in the waiting lounge, the visitor is participating actively in a process where learning and exchanging information on games and more, becomes a stimulus process into the virtual world before having the experience. The rooms, beyond the modern decoration and sci-fi aesthetics, offer up to four-member group for an experience.
